Sydney Terminal


Our Sydney Terminal is located in Botany Bay in Sydney's south east and is one of Australia's largest container seaport operations.

The Terminal is a dynamic 7 day, 24 hour operation.

About the role


We have a 9-month Fixed Term contract to start ASAP that would suit an organised and adaptable Office Administrator to join a supportive team.


Play a vital role in office by being to go-to person for all things administration, organisation and team support with a forward thinking and proactive approach.

You will require a high level of energy, resilience and desire to learn and deliver. You will be enthusiastic, motivated, have strong initiative and be someone who always demonstrates sound judgement and discretion.


As the Office Administrator, you must have a strong attention to detail, as well as proven ability to deliver in a fast paced and complex organisation.


Key Accountabilities

  • Support all levels of management, and manage the daytoday administrative proceedings of the Terminal.
  • Organise meetings, working lunches, conferences calls and greet visitors.
  • Support and resolve a broad range of employee queries from the workforce.
  • Provide administrative support including raising purchase orders, record keeping, filing, archiving
  • Carry out employee engagement and sustainability activities. Implement HR activities in line with the HR team.
    Experience, skills and qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience in Office administrator role (desired but not essential)
  • Excellent computer literacy, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare concise and clear reports, procedures, training documents etc.
