The Role:


As Catering Manager, you will lead the catering department, ensuring seamless execution of events and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence.

You will manage a talented team, collaborate with various departments, and uphold our commitment to delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

You will work closely with the executive chef to create menus that service regular clientele and keep them comiung back for more, along with work through costings, wage budgets and forecasts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including event planning, menu creation, and execution.
  • Manage and mentor catering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored event solutions.
  • Maintain inventory, control costs, and ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5 years) in a managerial role within the hospitality or catering industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and resource management.
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are preferred.
