The position operates closely with the Employment Relations Manager, who has overall responsibility for ER support, including ER advisory, remuneration and contracts, HR Support Desk, and compliance.
As the Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for providing high level administrative and technical support to the Employment Relations Team.
With a broad range of actions and projects to work on, every week brings opportunity to develop your skills in HR.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Triage and respond to HR Support Desk tickets; Administration assistance in performance and conduct processes; Development and/or amend position descriptions, workplace policies and procedures; Compliance reporting and processing; Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance; Preparation and process of employment contracts; Assistance/support in all areas of ER; About you The role calls for an individual who is highly organised, personable, flexible and agile.
You will understand customer centricity and be comfortable conversing and interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Multi-tasking is second nature to you, as is calm presence of mind and a determination for continual innovation and service improvement.
Possess a strong desire to work for an organisation that positively impacts people in need.With a willingness to get things done, shows initiative and sees things through; Knowledge, or ability to interpret enterprise agreements, modern Awards and NES, will be an advantage; Adept at maintaining high standards of discretion, and with the proven ability to handle difficult situations with tact and sensitivity, this opportunity will excite you; Essential requirements A degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience; Two years' experience providing employment relations advice and/or support; A demonstrated understanding of the general provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009; Experience in award/enterprise agreement interpretation and policy and procedure review will be highly regarded; Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of:
