The Role:

Working alongside the Project Manager, you will deliver commercial and residential developments.

You will manage site management, design direction with the project development manager, administering contracts, and controlling design and construction delivery milestones.

Your other key duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage the head contractor engaged to relevant projects
  • Control project programs and budgets
  • Develop procurement strategies
  • Administer internal systems necessary to efficiently manage project delivery
  • Liaise between the Project Manager and key representatives within the head contractor's project team to control project delivery
  • Handover necessary tasks with the internal facility management team to ensure the built product (office buildings) is understood by the management team and knowledge is shared for the effective management of the assets, postcompletion

The Ideal Person:

You have a strong understanding of the construction process and project management principles, and experience in managing head contractors engaged to relevant projects

You will also have:

  • Minimum of 35 years' experience in a similar role within the property and construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, project management software and databases.

Salary / Rate:

- $90k -$110k + Super

  • Permanent position
