About the role
This new position will be pivotal in helping to advance Navitas' evidence-based ESG strategy.

The initial priority will be to support the organisation to establish baseline carbon emissions reporting for FY22 and FY23, but the role will evolve to capture and report on quantative data related to all areas of ESG.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of carbon emissions reporting, including collaborating with stakeholders and our crossfunctional teams to understand and capture accurate data
  • Facilitate the capture of all environmental, sustainability and ESG data into a central repository for reporting and analytics.
  • Establish data management frameworks and processes to meet our future ESG reporting obligations and commitments.
  • Establish and coordinate quarterly ESG reports for internal leadership, Board and investors.
  • Assist in the coordination of the Company's external ESG reporting and disclosures including the Navitas Impact Report and greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
  • Provide oversight and assurance to ensure integrity, accuracy and completeness of data against relevant standards, frameworks, protocols and guidelines e.g. GHG Protocol for scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions.

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline such as Data Analytics, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or Finance.
  • 2+ years of work experience in Audit or Consulting firms preferably in ESG reporting (and climate change) or ESG in general, or equivalent experience in a similar role in complex, global organisation.
  • Familiarity with sustainability regulations and reporting standards such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's), International Sustainability Standards (ISSB) and the CDP.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic capability and a high level of numerical literacy.
  • Passion for quantitative data and data management.
  • Professional and engaging interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Advanced presentation and reporting skills, including the ability to prepare engaging and meaningful presentations and reports using Microsoft Suite tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced corporate environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience working with data platforms such as Power BI.
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience using the PathZero platform or similar carbon emissions reporting tool.
