The Program


The Throughcare Mentor Program is a voluntary programs that aims to promote the successful reintegration of offenders returning to the community by providing coaching to remove barriers to engagement with services in the community.


The Opportunity


This role suits someone who is a good listener, supportive, understanding, and welcoming, and who can commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week.

You will support to assist adult women who are in within 3 months of their release date from the Adelaide Pre-Release Centre, with their transition back into the community, including support with finding and accessing local services, engaging with government departments, setting goals, and building life skills.


The Impact
As part of the Throughcare Mentor Program, you will contribute to helping others in the community.

You will meet new people and connect with a diverse group of participants and make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Red Cross will ensure you have the training, ongoing support, and access to other opportunities within the organisation's network.
