The opportunity:


This role is ideal for a recent Graduate who is curious of nature and wanting to develop a career in marketing.

As Marketing Assistant at William Buck's Melbourne office, you will be part of small Marketing team of experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you.


  • You will support the team with content creation for the firm, social media posts, and hands on running of events. You will also drive internal engagement, working across our various staff committees (e.g. CSR, Social, Health & Wellbeing) ensuring meetings and events run smoothly.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating firm activities at promotional forums, seminars, and external conferences
  • Driving firm culture, initiatives and encourage participation
  • Digital marketing and content generation (videos, articles etc.)
  • Implementing and maintaining programs, plans, policies, and procedures for all aspects of marketing
  • Coordinating client functions, events, and webinars

About you:

  • Keen interest in Marketing, inquisitive and eager to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different stakeholders
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise conflicting deadlines and work
  • Tech savvy with social media knowledge and the ability to adopt new technologies
  • Creative skills
  • Able to support marketing activities outside of standard work hours

  • This role will be based in our Melbourne CBD office with flexible working in line with our hybrid working policy.
  • This position is only open to those who hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
