Job Description

The Square Compliance Quality Control (QC) team at Square focuses on giving feedback, insights, and recommendations to improve decision-making processes. As a Compliance Quality Control Analyst, you will review decisions made by our global Compliance teams, with a specific focus on cases from Japan and Australia. Your role involves identifying gaps, providing training, and suggesting improvements to enhance global Compliance procedures.

This role is fully remote from Australia or Japan and may require non-traditional work hours across different time zones.

Qualifications

You Will:

Sample a wide range of compliance-related decisionsEvaluate data to identify patterns and gaps, develop procedures, and provide trainingOffer ongoing quality coachingCollaborate with team leads to enhance policies and proceduresHandle QC escalations and disputesDemonstrate or quickly develop knowledge of Compliance workstreamsUnderstand regulatory requirements, especially AML guidelines and protocols

You Have:

1+ year of Compliance QC/QA experienceExperience in financial institutions or FinTechProficiency in writing SQL queriesBackground in global compliance teamsKnowledge of Looker and creating complex dashboardsExperience in analyzing trends and data for management
