Our client is a distinguished Australian-owned specialty foods company, renowned for sourcing the finest ingredients and cookware. They proudly supply some of the nation's top restaurants, hotels, caterers, specialty food stores, and other premium outlets.

As Wholesale Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a robust and highly successful wholesale division. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily warehouse operations management;
  • Lead, inspire, and roster the team to maintain high productivity, service excellence and an enjoyable working environment;
  • Organize the warehouse to maximize space, ensuring smooth and safe daily operations with top-notch cleanliness;
  • Inventory Control;
  • Manage key accounts and foster supplier relationships;
  • Cross-functional team collaboration, efficiently working together to achieve the best outcomes for the company and its stakeholders;
  • Stock and Pricing Management;
  • Manage costs related to goods, packaging, labor, freight, and fleet operations;
  • Ensure compliance in accordance with HACCP and PEAL legislation.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess 5-8 years of experience in warehouse or food safety operations with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership capacity;
  • Must place have a strong understanding of food safety requirements; working knowledge of HACCP and PEAL compliance legislation, annual audits etc.;
  • Tertiary education in Business Administration or Logistics would be highly advantageous;
  • High Reach Proficiency;
  • Hold a valid Victorian driver's license required.
