About the role


We're seeking a Treasurer - Funding to provide leadership in the planning, management, execution and monitoring of Transurban's Treasury's funding activities.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Assist with the development and management of the Group's Capital Strategy, including with the preparation of the debt and equity funding plans
  • Conduct planning and execution for select financing activities, in line with requirements under the Funding Plan, Treasury Policy and board approvals
  • Manage the execution process for the Group's equity capital raisings
  • Be involved in select development projects, to ensure the proposed funding and structural solutions are consistent with the approved funding structure and financing arrangements and the impacts on credit metrics and ratings targets are appropriately considered and mitigated
  • Manage the credit ratings process for select assets and the Group
  • Conduct financial risk management including ensuring Liquidity, Interest rates, Foreign exchange and other financial risks are identified, managed and monitored in accordance with Treasury Policy
  • As a member of the Treasury Leadership Team, assist with the development and management of Treasury team members
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Experience in a similar role within corporate treasury or equivalent
  • Appropriate tertiary education and professional qualifications
  • Deep understanding of financial risks and how they are mitigated
  • Understanding of debt and equity markets and risks associated with financing activities
  • Strong technical, financial and financial modelling skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills and ability to think outside the square
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels and manage, direct and develop staff
