John Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella will soon commence design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package.


With a contract worth $1.63 billion, the Eastern Tunnelling Package includes construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations.

Starting at The Bays, tunnel boring machines will cross the harbour near the Anzac Bridge, before heading to the new Pyrmont station and then under Darling Harbour before reaching Hunter Street in the heart of the CBD.

This is the final piece in the puzzle to deliver the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project.


Once completed, Sydney Metro West will double rail capacity between greater Paramatta and the Sydney CBD, with travel times of around 20 minutes between the two centres.


The Role:

HR Coordinator

  • As a HR coordinator you will provide support and assistance to the HR team and project.

Skills and Experience:

  • 35 years in a similar position.
  • HR Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • HR Administration experience.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding experience.
  • Providing support to the wider HR team.
  • Managing data and producing reports.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 package and Excel.
  • Previous experience with HR/Recruitment software.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Good attention to detail.
