Esri Australia is the leader in the Australian geospatial sector and is the national distributor for the world-leading ArcGIS platform. We bring together the best and brightest in our industry. Every person in our team is highly skilled.

With different technical and industry strengths, we are united in our love for what we do. We are each committed to delivering real outcomes, and our unwavering work ethic makes sure of it.

As we continue to evolve and grow our business, we are looking for new ways to work more efficiently and more effectively.

Do you want to be the voice that connects our people across Australia and beyond?

About the Role

Working along with the CMO, this newly created Internal Communications Manager will develop and deliver engaging strategies that keep our employees informed, motivated, and aligned with our company culture.

In this dynamic role, you'll partner with senior leaders, craft compelling content across various channels, and champion employee well-being initiatives alongside HR and Finance.

You'll also be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative spirit and a strong sense of community across all markets.

This is your chance to make a real impact – if you're a passionate strategic thinker with a big appetite for clear communication and a heart for employee engagement, this is the role you have been waiting for.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Devise and deliver the internal communications strategy for the Boustead Geospatial Group.
  • Partner with key business and country stakeholders to ensure that all internal communication is aligned with business objectives and supports the company's culture and values.
  • Creation and delivery of high-level internal communications content – which may include, but is not limited to:
  • Working with internal teams to support them with employee communications (wellbeing, rewards, awards, group policies, OH & S, etc.), and communications regarding internal employee events
  • Assisting with crisis communications, ensuring all employees are informed and up to date.
  • Leveraging analytics to optimise the reach and effectiveness of internal communications to ensure best practice and cross-cultural understanding and engagement.
  • Comply with group brand, marketing, and operational requirements.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Marketing Team.

About You

If you crave a dynamic role where you can be the bridge between employees and leadership, igniting a culture of engagement across borders – we want to speak to you.

We're seeking a passionate Internal Communications Manager to craft compelling strategies and content that keeps our people informed, inspired, and aligned.

This isn't just about sending emails – it's about leveraging your strategic thinking and communication magic to foster a thriving company culture.

We believe that to be successful in this role you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a content creation or communications role.
  • Degree qualified communications, or relevant marketing or communications subjects.
  • Hands-on experience with internal communications tools, ideally with SharePoint.
  • Extensive experience in comms writing & high attention to details.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, advanced computer skills, with proven collaboration, negotiation, and research skills.
  • Strong ability to plan, write and edit content for multiple mediums.
  • Experience in managing timelines and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly disciplined in working individually and as part of a team.
  • A strong understanding of how to balance workflow productivity and quality of output.
  • Multilingual (English, Bahasa, Malay, Mandarin and/or Bangali) would be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to remain professional under pressure.
  • A willingness to work outside of standard hours, as required.
  • You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
  • Attitude and behaviour align with Esri Australia's core values.
