Retail Person/Professional, Sydney Brand Centre (Casual)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

  • Retail Professional of the Sydney Brand Centre is responsible for driving the store net sales and consumer experience within an adidas Halo store, achieving high productivity and contributing to an active selling environment. A Halo store is the pinnacle of the adidas Retail experience for adidas consumers as it relates to sales & customer service, operations, people, product knowledge, visual merchandising & activations.
  • Drives profitability of the store by meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets.
  • Supports store management team by providing consumers with outstanding experience while meeting or exceeding commercial goals, in turn, building brand equity.
  • Represents the adidas brand/company brands and products in an inspiring and impactful way. Amplifies the brand with every decision and every action, whilst passionately inspiring consumer loyalty to the brand.
  • Ensures compliance with Global Retail operational directives, processes, policies, and standards within the store front to build a worldclass Brand Flagship Store.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Success:
  • Awareness of Halo store sales, membership, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets. In tandem with individual performance targets, take ownership of them and effectively use all available store resources to meet and/or exceed them.
  • Identify sales and KPI improvement opportunities and communicate suggestions to store management to address them and drive commercial success.
  • Seeks opportunities to build relationships and partnerships with other entities to enhance the exposure of the business to positively impact the net sales and brand equity within the marketplace.
  • Selling and Service Culture:
  • Supports the Floor Operations Manager
  • Sydney Brand Centre by performing within a selling and service culture, through exercising sales execution strategies, product knowledge & training, and by ensuring consumers come first.
  • Achieves individual targets and actively collaborates by sharing best practices with peers to support and accomplish store goals.
  • Role models selling & service expectations on the sales floor during weekly rostered hours.
  • Halo Floor Operations:
  • Engages in daily huddles at the start of each shift to align with targets, tracking, key messages, store and business focuses.
  • Exceeds consumer expectations by performing to Halo store selling & service expectations which encompass (but are not limited to) the Connect Engage Inspire (CEI) and Every Moment Matter models (EMM).
  • Awareness of suspicious behaviour, potential threats, or theft and communication effectively with Halo store management to mitigate and ensure staff health and safety.
