A little bit about the role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales and Service leader to join our team.
This is a senior position reporting direct to the Chief Executive Officer.
The Senior Manager Sales and Service is accountable for leading a team of approximately 20 to achieve the best outcomes for our members and the Credit Union. This will be achieved through the ongoing development and adoption of a member focused sales and service framework.
What you can expect
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will:
- Lead the Sales and Service team (including branches, lenders and contact centre) in a cohesive manner consistent with our values
- Develop and drive adoption of our Sales and Service Framework to achieve our commercial objectives
- Ensure member feedback is thoroughly understood and taken on board where appropriate
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including developing community and referred relationships
- Be familiar with all relevant regulations and policies and actively promote compliance within your team
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 7 years banking experience in a leadership role
- A successful track record of leading a team across a distributed network
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch emphasis as circumstance dictate
- Deep understanding of sales and service frameworks, including data driven events, to ensure consistent delivery and outcomes
- Effective report writing and communication skills
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and with the ability to build and maintain relationships
