This includes resolving reported incidents and service requests, either directly or by referral to system vendors, keeping clients appraised of progress, monitoring servicelevel agreements and reporting issue resolution.
- Investigating evolving requirements, problems and opportunities related to OQPC's legislative drafting and publishing system, proposing effective business solutions through technology enhancements and/or changed business processes. This includes requirements definition, problem analysis, stakeholder consultation and documentation and presentation of business options, particularly to the Committee overseeing system development.
- Support employees and vendors on fault resolution and the design, development, testing and release of system changes and enhancements. This includes specification development, preparation and execution of test plans.
- Assist with the maintenance of the structured legislative authoring environment including maintenance of the Element Definition Document and the Document Type Definition software.
- Gather and analyse internal and external feedback on OQPC's legislative drafting and publishing system (including web clients). Use this feedback to drive improvements and develop training resources and communication plans to support client needs.
- Contribute to the delivery of editing, reprinting and other publishing services within the Legislation Editing and Publishing Services team as determined by business operational needs.
