about the role


We are excited to welcome a Precinct Operations Contract Manager (Presentation Services) to oversee the operational management of cleaning and waste service delivery throughout the Precinct.

As the Precinct Operations Contract Manager (Presentation Services) you will lead a number of large-scale supplier contracts, partnering closely with these providers to ensure our precinct is presented at a high level.

In this role you will strive to exceed expectations of M&OP's clients, guests, visitors and key stakeholders.


Reporting to the Director of Australian Open and Precinct Operations, this role will have a Precinct wide lens in both an event and non-event capacity, and will play an integral role in the operational planning and delivery of each Australian Open (AO) and year round events.

Operational Excellence

  • Walking in the shoes of guests and visitors who frequent our Venues and Precinct, you drive improved performance in event and nonevent mode cleaning and presentation standards.
  • Deliver improved performance in waste diversions programs achieving reductions in general waste through the Precinct.

Contract Management

  • Using your contract and operational management expertise, you will strive to improve the performance in cleaning and presentation to outstanding levels to achieve visual excellence, enhanced valueformoney, and strong reputation of a safe and hygienic destination. Working closely with our business partners you will ensure compliance, delivery to high standards and key performance indicators are monitored and achieved.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • As the main conduit between M&OP, our clients and our business partners, you will bring a collaborative mindset to set new and higher standards and achieve the best outcomes for all parties.
  • You will champion a culture of empowerment and pride and build a reputation amongst clients and guests of a strong sense of valueformoney relevant to cleaning and waste management at M&OP.
