About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions on a range of topics related to Personalised Care and educate participants on essential units such as Effective Communication, Basic Care Skills, Health & Safety Protocols, Ethical and Legal Aspects, and more.
  • Conduct engaging and informative sessions, ensuring highquality learning experiences tailored to participant needs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor program participants, drawing on your extensive experience in providing Person-Centred Care. Utilise adaptive teaching techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring that educational outcomes are tailored to reflect each participant's unique care background and skills.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary education in Health Care, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in aged care, disability, or community care settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teaching and mentoring.
  • Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to a varied audience.
  • Competency in clinical skills and care environment knowledge.
  • Empathy and patience with a passion for improving care quality.
  • Possesses Police Check and Working with Children Check or is willing to obtain one prior to the commencement of training.
