About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an
Asset Product Manager to help shape the strategic direction of the business.

You will foster meaningful trusted partnerships with Executive Leaders, Senior Managers, and other key stakeholders to constructively advise and challenge business driven decision making, resulting in sustainable performance outcomes for Urban Utilities.

This role is integral in contributing to the Asset Product teams core focus of driving improved performance outcomes through customer centric engagement.


You will be the focal point for the management of our agile delivery model which includes the development of delivery frameworks and processes.

This includes managing the asset product portfolio life cycle management, planning and aligning with relevant cross-functional product teams, delivery operations and strategy and governance teams to ensure that the business can evolve and enhance the platforms to support the organisation's current and future business strategies.


As the Asset Product Manager, you will be:

  • Building the product roadmap, ensuring group and industry alignment
  • Driving maturity and efficiencies for configuration management and asset management controls, policies and procedures.
  • Managing the IT asset life cycle from planning to disposal and support with reducing the cost of provisioning and managing assets.
  • Managing a team of 7 and guiding 4 direct reports
  • Planning and leading the identification and assessment of new and emerging technologies to support the organisation's business capability to drive improved digital asset performance and utilisations
  • Leading the planning, estimating and execution of programs for digital asset product systems development work to time, budget and quality targets.
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships to maximise the opportunity for enhanced solution delivery and innovation. Implement processes to ensure alignment with Asset Product Roadmap and develop detailed delivery plans
  • Develop strategic partnership relationships with organisational leaders across the organisation to drive performance and efficiencies.

About you

  • Significant proven experience and success in leading the design and implementation of innovative asset management capability and services across a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team and enabling project teams undertaking requirements analysis, solution development design, configuration implementation and delivery for enterprise asset management systems.
  • Experience in working with Enterprise Information Management, Analytics Enablement and Architecture teams to contribute to the development of strategic directions and architectural positions (including policy, classifications and standards) in respect of Asset management solutions and data.
  • Preferred recent experience in the configuration and administration of Ellipse 9, Click and FSE
  • Experience in Agile, Product Roadmap development and Scrum Master
