ICT Contracts & Procurement Support Officer

Role type: 6-12 month Temporary Full-Time Opportunity with possibility to be converted to ongoing/permanent

Salary:
DCS Grade 5/6, starting base salary of $89, % superannuation and leave loading

Remote/Hybrid
working arrangements:
In-office requirement once a month

Working across large ICT categories and reporting to the Senior Advisor Contracts & Commercial Performance, this role is part of a collaborative team who value individual input and offers genuine flexibility.

This opportunity is within a high-volume and dynamic environment that spans a range of procurement and commercial activity.

About the role:

  • Preparing correspondence including briefing notes and procurement documentation ensuring effective records management and reporting.
  • Assist in the planning and formation of low to medium risk IT contracts.
  • Maintain contract records in GTP Commercial Application.
  • Assist in the development of reports, tools and templates to ensure compliance with policies and procedures including internal controls.
  • Assist in coordinating and responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver value for money, and deliver procurement outcomes.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management.
  • Welldeveloped written communication and interpersonal skills, including the preparation of procurement and technical documents.
  • Ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good level of conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and highlight key issues.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads to agreed timeframes.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite and power BI skills desirable.

***Salary Grade 5/6, with the base salary for this role starting at $89707 base plus superannuation
