Part of the Loyalty People team, The Senior People Consultant is a trusted business partner to loyalty business stakeholders, providing leadership, advice and coaching to ensure strong performance outcomes whilst supporting growth, development and engagement of our people.

You will have exciting opportunities to work on a variety of strategic initiatives and people programs of work across the employee lifecycle, whilst also supporting day-to-day BAU activity across Loyalty business unit functions.


Your core responsibilities will include:
People Business Partner to senior stakeholders in Loyalty.

End to end project management for a number of Loyalty people programs (including engagement surveys, listening sessions and action planning, onboarding and supporting other cyclical people activities such as performance, talent and remuneration reviews)Supporting and driving a number of People initiatives aligned to business priorities Coaching line Managers on People advisory matters Using data and analysis to highlight people's priorities and build cases for change.


You'll have:

High level of initiative and personal accountability Resilient, ability to adapt and work in a complex business environment Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline3-5 years of Human Resources related experience HR experience in a corporate environment driving and delivering positive people outcomes (experience in a tech/digital/commercial environment would be advantageous but not critical)Experience with project coordination/management, consulting and supporting strategic HR practices/projects Experience supporting organisational change programs Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and exercise strict confidentiality and deal with ambiguity and complexity.

Experienced in carrying out functional activities complex environments (e.g.
with numerous industrial awards and multiple business units)Experienced in working with people at all levels of an organisation with diverse workstyles A positive mindset, strong work ethic and adaptability You'll be challenged and stretched in your role at Qantas, but we'll make sure we give you the support you need to be your best.
