This is a temporary assignment working full-time hours, commencing in December and working through to May 2024, with the possibility of extension.
About the Company
Our client is responsible for the delivery of retail water supply and wastewater services across five Local Government areas in SEQ.
About the Role
The Procurement Strategy and Enablement Manager will lead the development, implementation, and execution of the procurement long term strategies, insights, frameworks, process and thought leadership to practically enable the organisation to advance sustainable, ethical and socially responsible outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing governance, risk management, performance reporting, and transformational change for the procurement group
- Anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy
Performance Management
- Managing and reporting on performance within your department; setting appropriate performance objectives.
- Contributing to the development of annual and longerterm business plans
- Managing a significant portion of the organisations procurement and supply chain risk management
- Ensuring that business activities comply with external regulatory codes
- Lead and design and delivery of procurement projects
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Procurement, Business, or related discipline
- Substantial work experience in Procurement years
- Experience planning, managing, and organising resources
