Melbourne City Centre, Victoria, Australia Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Full time

THE ROLE

Are you:

  • An experienced platform analyst with a passion for maximising the value delivered to the end users of program management platforms (or similar systems)?
  • Experienced with the support of SaaS platforms, Microsoft 365 Apps and Microsoft Azure (including Project Portfolio Management Online, Power Apps, SharePoint and Power BI)?
  • Effective at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand and support the enhancement of platform capabilities as part of a broader program to establish fit for purpose and effective process outcomes (ideally in a program/project management context)?

The Platform Analyst role within the Enterprise Portfolio Governance (EPG) team in the Housing Performance & Governance Branch of Homes Victoria supports the organisation to effectively deliver on its Big Housing Build and other commitments.

Given the importance of the strategic programs being delivered, an effective program management capability is critical to ensure that programs are effectively and proactively managed.

The role will support the operation and evolution of the digitally-enabled program management platform that supports the end-to-end tracking of Homes Victoria's critical programs.

The role is a balance of the management of gathering and analysing business needs and technical requirements (to support iterative platform improvements); acting as the interface with the SaaS vendor, minor platform administration changes; and, supporting project teams with simple technical queries, troubleshooting and advice, as required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Support the operation and ongoing enhancement of the digitallyenabled program management platform
  • Implement minor administration platform changes and proactively manage escalated technical support cases (noting, platform vendor training will be provided to enable this accountability).
