Come join Swinburne as our new Regional Manager, Onshore Recruitment.

This role reports to the Director, International Recruitment and is responsible for executing strategies for the successful attraction of fee-paying international students from within the designated region through agent, direct, sponsored, partner and study abroad channels.

You will be responsible for understanding existing and emerging opportunities for student recruitment in their region across all Swinburne offerings.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will develop region-specific marketing initiatives under the University's agile approach to marketing.

In this capacity, you will also oversees the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans in support of regional recruitment activities, including deployment of new and emerging digital technologies.


To achieve set recruitment targets for the region, the Regional Manager is responsible for the end to end selection, training and management of education agency partners in the region and building strong successful relationships between agency staff and Swinburne.


Additionally, a key responsibility of the role is student recruitment activities with dedicated articulation, pathways and transnational education partners in the region, in partnership with colleagues across the University responsible for managing these relationships.


Swinburne University has significant global partnerships and the Regional Manager is responsible for coordinating joint recruitment activities in the region with delivery partners, including UP Education, ECA, Swinburne Vietnam and Swinburne Sarawak, to ensure Swinburne is represented in a coherent manner in the region.


About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Significant experience and demonstrated success in profitably managing indirect and direct sales channels.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills occasionally providing strategic support or advice combined with the ability to generate practical and effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience of the digital environment and use of digital capabilities to effectively manage and support direct and indirect sales channel.
  • Superior selfmanagement and time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or completion of a relevant degree level qualification with relevant workrelated experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
