Recruitment Manager

Birmingham

Bell Cornwall, on behalf of our client, is looking for a dynamic and skilled Recruitment Manager to manage the apprentice recruitment process and maintain key relationships with employers. The ideal candidate will be in charge of coordinating recruitment activities, managing data, and assisting the business development team with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise apprentice recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Schedule interviews for new apprentices with employers.
  • Process Apprentice Application forms and applications from the (URL removed) website.
  • Contact candidates for application discussions, assessment scheduling, and email communication during the recruitment process.
  • Enter data into PICS, establish applicants on BKSB, and consistently update databases.
  • Conduct interviews with successful applicants and facilitate employer sign-ups.
  • Handle the Digital Apprenticeship Service, which includes employer invitations and monitoring.
  • Register and contact apprentices who switch employers, handle paperwork, and support business development.
  • Aid in the registration/monitoring of learners on the Learner Record Service.
  • Organize skills scans with employers, apprentices, and tutors.
  • Coordinate school events and represent the client at school functions.
  • Manage out-of-work apprentice cases, conduct employer meetings, and propose potential applicants to employers.

Key Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, preferably in the apprenticeship or training sector.
  • Effective organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in utilizing database software and handling extensive datasets.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in engaging with employers and coordinating recruitment activities.
  • Dedication to safeguarding and advancing the welfare of individuals.
  • Flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities as needed for the role.
