About the role
Plan and coordinate the effective and efficient rostering and recruitment of clinical staff at the Caboolture Satellite Hospital

The Satellite Hospitals Program (SHP) is a $280 million Queensland Government commitment to deliver seven new facilities to support public healthcare delivery in rapidly growing communities across South East Queensland.

The locations for the new Satellite Hospitals are, Caboolture, Kallangur and Bribie Island.

All sites have been chosen to provide better access to healthcare for local communities, in convenient settings, without having to travel to major hospitals for care.

They will offer a range of services based on the health needs of the community and incorporate outpatient community-based healthcare services with virtual healthcare opportunities.

Each Satellite Hospital has a minor injury and illness clinic which will deliver non-urgent care and support emergency departments at major hospitals by giving people more options to access healthcare for minor injuries and illnesses close to home.

About you

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and to solve complex rostering, relieving and allocation organisational problems and an ability to liaise and effectively negotiate and consult on complex and sensitive manners with all levels of Stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical recruitment processes (including legislative requirements) impacting and influencing medical workforce (e.g registration and immigration requirements and medical crdentialing).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and consult on complex and sensitive manners.
  • High levels of organisation skills including the ability to produce detailed work of a high quality, effectively prioritise multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and seek solutions in order to continuously improve the quality of services provided.
