Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.

We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.


Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity
The Administrative Assistant is accountable to the Medical Unit Head/Advanced Nurse Consultant of the Department, on a day-to-day basis for:
> Providing a high level of administrative and reception support services to the service and General Medicine Department

> Maintaining and ensuring accuracy of clerical documentation

> Contributing to the provision of effective patient care management by maintaining accurate records, booking lists and other details

> Assists in the management of clinic bookings and reports

> Maintaining systems and processes to assist the streamlining and efficiency of timely processes and workload within the service

About You


To be successful in this role, you will use your previous administrative / clerical experience in providing a confidential secretarial and personal administrative support service to senior staff, including in the drafting and editing of general correspondence, minutes and reports.


If you have the ability to maintain confidentiality, in particular with matters pertaining to employment, the ability to communicate, both verbal and written and the ability to work under limited direction, then this role is for you.
