The position will
provide
a high level
of customer
servic
e, problem resolution and advice in response to SAP Concur
Travel and Expense related queries from UTS staff.***
Key accountabilities:Respond to customer travel, expense and corporate card enquiries, questions, requests and processing tasks lodged through multiple channels.

Resolve transactions, using both knowledge base articles and other reference materials, where applicable.

Use the support platform to raise tickets and/or raise customer enquiries for assistance/resolution ensuring the customer query is resolved.

Continual Improvement
Identify, nominate and participate in any improvement opportunities across products, services, technology and systems and reporting within travel and expense

Training & Development
Provide support and training for university staff on the T&E system as required

Ad-hoc Projects and Activities
The performance of ant other activities and duties that are both consistent with and appropriate for the position context and function of the role

Relationships and Engagement
Work collaboratively with team members and management, as well as other groups, cohorts and stakeholders across the university.


This will be achieved through the sharing of knowledge and expertise with travel and expense colleagues as well as with various other groups, cohorts and stakeholders across the university, and the solicitation of customer feedback to improve service quality, standards and delivery.

Attend and participate in all team and divisional meetings and forums, when required.

Attend, participate in and complete all mandatory training and up-skilling courses and sessions when scheduled.

Essential requirements

  • Customer service experience, preferably within a travel and expense environment. Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and expertise, with the ability to convey information and empathy to customers and staff at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to prioritise workload, word independently and be part of a team
  • Proven ability to share knowledge and finance expertise within a team environment, with the objective of ensuring the continual improvement of customer service delivery
  • Highly developed problem solving skills, including 'thinking outside the box' and the ability to exercise good judgement
  • Demonstrated high level computer literacy skills and knowledge, with specific proficiency in Concur, SAP and Microsoft Office package.
