Accountabilities include:
- Supporting the Strategic Rail Branch in implementing SEQ Rail Connect and identifying rail investment priorities. Leading and coordinating the various project interfaces with internal and external stakeholders as part of the B2M project team. Ensuring the B2M project supports the implementation of the strategic vision for passenger and freight rail in SEQ and state-wide, as identified in key transport strategy documents. Engaging and managing specialist consultant services to deliver studies, investigations and project assessment documentation. Ensuring studies and investigations are completed within scope, timeframe and costs. Representing the department's rail operational and infrastructure planning interests by participating in working groups on integrated planning activities. Developing and maintaining constructive communications and collaborative relationships with TMR's broader rail planning and service planning teams, other areas within TMR (particularly regional offices), external agencies, and key partners and stakeholders. Providing expert advice for the Minister, Director-General, Deputy Director-General, General Manager, Executive Director (Rail Planning and Operations) and Project Director in relation to the B2M project. Preparing complex ministerial correspondence, reports, briefing notes, cabinet submissions and other general correspondence on behalf of the Minister, Director-General, Deputy Director-General, General Manager and Executive Director. Assisting in the development of responses to public enquiries, and consultation activities where necessary. Undertaking community consultation and engagement activities. Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
