As Product Marketing Manager, Broker you'll know that the secret to acquiring home lending customers at scale starts with a full funnel approach to B2B marketing paired with creative communications that help turn brokers into brand advocates.

This role is responsible for managing and delivering the day-to-day marketing activities for the Broker channel. You'll build on our overall home lending strategy by identifying the opportunities that convert leveraging content, events and communications to engage brokers and drive sales. Working alongside the brand, creative and BDM team, you'll deliver high impact broker campaigns and act as a specialist within the broader campaigns & content team.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

Reporting to the Growth Director for Campaigns & Content, you will:
Assume end-to-end responsibility for the development, execution and performance of the broker marketing and engagement strategy, including:

  • Deliver an always-on broker communications program leveraging email, social media, and the broker portal to ensure the brand is top of mind with the broker segment
  • Translate the home loans B2C proposition into a compelling B2B proposition that matters to brokers, in an engaging, memorable, and repeatable way.
  • Support Broker event management ensuring a strong engagement model before, during and after the event, working alongside the Head of Broker and BDM team.
  • Plan, manage, and deliver a cohesive Broker content and community strategy (articles, presentations, videos, hubs), and assisting the broker journey from onboarding through to first settlement and beyond, ensuring the experience drives broker satisfaction and advocacy.
  • Management of the broker marketing budget: identifying the key opportunities to activate, and how much to spend on them to drive a consistent and efficient presence in market
  • Supporting the product team with change comms, rate updates, and keeping brokers informed about our home lending product through: EDM, website updates, at-event collateral (ie: pull up banners, signage, take home packs), pitch decks and more.
  • Leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities to improve broker uptake and deal share within our target customer audiences.
  • Regularly measure the effectiveness of broker marketing activity against key metrics (e.g. share of deals) and share this with stakeholders, taking an experimentation-first mindset to learn from everything we do.
  • Flex your creative muscles regularly to bring the broker brand to life, and collaborate with our in-house creative team to develop assets and collateral for the broker channel that allow us to stand out in a crowded market.
  • Take ownership of all project management across your suite of activities within agreed timeframes and to budget, keeping stakeholders and other teams updated and engaged through the process.
  • Develop your higher order marketing skills, learning about branding & brand building, strategy &planning, and optimising overall budgets.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

In taking on this role you'll:

  • 2-4+ years of experience within the broker landscape.
  • Have a strong grounding in great comms strategies, and what it takes to bring these to life.
  • Understand the basics of the home lending world.
  • Have worked 'on the tools' building and delivering campaigns across paid, organic and customer comms channels (eg: technical knowledge in SendGrid, LinkedIn).
  • You're a challenger who sees the world differently and recognises that growth at scale doesn't come from doing the same thing as everyone else.
  • Have experience in a startup or scale up environment, or an agile standalone marketing role.
  • Be an open and transparent communicator – you'll leave no question unasked and look for opportunities to share information and learnings at every step.
  • Embrace big, audacious goals whilst providing your team with the freedom to execute creative ways to get there.
