EA to EGM Everyday Banking

We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high level support to the EGM Everyday Banking based in Brisbane on a permanent full-time basis.


The key purpose of the role of Executive Assistant to EGM Everyday Banking and HO Strategic Delivery is to provide a high level of administrative support to each executive and provide targeted assistance to the broader leadership teams.


What you'll do:

  • Perform routine administration and other tasks to support the executives in running their department.
  • Ensure documents, including Committee submissions, SBLT papers and any Executive Leadership Team and Board papers are of a high quality and distributed in accordance with procedure and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to support executives, including ensuring effective communication and managing competing expectations.
  • Coordinate Everyday Banking and Strategic Delivery team meeting cadence, agendas, minutes and following up action items.
  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines required for achievement of department and Suncorp Bank objectives.
  • Support compliance with relevant legislation and Group policies and procedures.
  • Coordination of team events and functions and assist the executives to improve engagement through recognition activities.
  • Prudent, effective and timely management of monthly AMEX statements, purchase orders and invoice processing and department cost centre monitoring.
  • Management of Everyday Banking and Strategic Delivery department people data, compliance and reporting, and real estate accommodation requirements.
  • Booking travel arrangements for EGM Everyday Banking and HO Strategic Delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities for the seamless running of Everyday Banking and Strategic Delivery offices.
  • Actively participate and contribute to the Suncorp Bank EA community and forum.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous EA/PA experience supporting a senior manager within a corporate environment.
  • Banking industry experience and knowledge beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in core Microsoft products: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work in a deadlinedriven environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Possess a high attention to detail, good judgement and high levels of confidentiality.
  • Exceptional time management/organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage/prioritise workflow with mínimal supervision.
  • Uses initiative and suggests and implements continuous improvement opportunities for the division.
  • Able to adapt to changes in systems and processes readily; and
  • Ability to seek out information and break down problems and situations, providing options and alternatives, and follow through.
