Role Purpose

This position within the Portfolio Management Unit (PMU) focuses on developing and overseeing the distribution strategy for the loan portfolio in the Global Corporate & Investment Banking sector for APAC ('GCIB APAC'). It involves defining the Originate to Distribute strategy aligned with GCIB objectives, establishing distribution book processes, monitoring KPI progress, and overseeing staff development.

The role can be based in Singapore, Melbourne, or Sydney, depending on the candidate's location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and guide distribution strategy in collaboration with DCM
  • Manage distribution book processes and decision-making
  • Make recommendations for portfolio profitability enhancement
  • Monitor distribution book progress against targets
  • Enhance transparency of underwriting and distribution results
  • Lead communication with internal stakeholders
  • Supervise direct reports and provide guidance for team development
  • Continuously enhance team processes and tools

Requirements:

  • 10 years of financial industry experience
  • 7 years of experience in financial products and distribution processes
  • 5 years of leadership experience
  • Strategic planning and strong communication skills
  • Effective management and leadership abilities
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
