Your role:

The Regional Development Manager plays a crucial role within North Central, driving business development, service growth, innovation, and strategic relationship management while advocating for sector reform. This involves close collaboration with the Regional Director and Management Team, fostering strong relationships with Government Departments, Agencies, and individuals.

This position demands an innovative and strategic mindset, along with a deep understanding of the human service delivery system, especially regarding services for families and children in out-of-home care. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent people skills, communication abilities, and relevant tertiary qualifications.

About you:

  • Detailed knowledge of the human service delivery system, especially concerning services for children, young people, and families.
  • Able to lead various projects, tenders, and submissions, focusing on expanding Anglicare Victoria's service delivery.
  • Proven experience in writing for grants, submissions, reports, and tenders, and the ability to mediate and negotiate effectively in complex situations.
  • Skilled in maintaining external stakeholder partnerships and fostering productive relationships.
  • Leadership experience supporting Program Managers and the Regional Director, providing guidance on program practices.

Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification, preferably in Social Sciences, Human Services, or Social Work.
  • Additional project management or management qualifications are advantageous.
