Turks have a new and exciting opportunity for a Legal Administration Assistant to join our high performing and rapidly growing team in our Sydney office.

This is a full time position, with flexibility offered once you have settled into your role. You will be rewarded with long-term career opportunities and development, in a friendly, approachable and supportive team-based environment.

Responsibilities
Reporting to a Partner and a Senior Legal Assistant, you will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • preparation and drafting of correspondence, including court documents, letters and other word processing;
- downloading and collating documents;
- diary management, including diarising hearing dates and processing of documentation for court actions;
- compiling and sending reports to clients;
- brief preparation;
- monthly billing;
- opening/closing files;
- assisting lawyers as necessary; and
- other secretarial and administrative tasks as required by the Group.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • have completed your Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
- have an outstanding level of attention to detail;
- demonstrate your reliable and responsible nature;
- have superior time management and organisational skills;
- be an approachable and responsive team member; and
- demonstrate ability to work in a professional services firm conducting work of a legal nature, however is not essential
