Tasks & responsibilities

  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning activities for 0-2 year old group.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of educators.
  • Collaborate with parents to understand each child's background, preferences, and special considerations.
  • Oversee the daily operations of your designated classroom.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & experience

  • Diploma level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification (or hold Certificate III and working towards Diploma qualification)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and Mandatory Reporting
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training
  • First Aid Training
  • experience in long day care
  • Australian working rights – Visa/Passport
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement a quality education program
  • Demonstrated passion for children and their Development and a strong commitment to child safety

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
