Position Summary
Opportunity for a Manager / Senior Manager to join a growing M&A team in Melbourne. You will oversee multiple projects, manage a small cohesive team and will report directly to the leadership team.
You will have the opportunity to drive and add value on a wide variety of M&A projects with differing levels of complexity for various client types across a wide range of industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Advisory - end to end M&A and lead IPO execution (including target list, databook and information memorandum preparation, financial due diligence and data room management, participate in transaction negotiations and stakeholder management); Work across sell-side, buy-side, capital raising and strategic advice; Management of project deliverables and adherence to transaction timeframes; Manage, develop and work collaboratively with junior members of the team; Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships; and Assist with deal origination and the preparation of proposals, engagements and pitch documents.
REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in Business / Commerce / Law or Economics (CA / CFA favourable) 3-5 years' experience in M&A within a top-tier / mid-tier accounting firm, investment bank or boutique advisory firm Experience in preparing information memoranda, databooks, proposals and other marketing documents Experience in managing multiple M&A projects from end to end Strong analytical and critical evaluation skills Ability to meet and work towards deadlines Strong communication and report writing skills Attention to detail and commercially insightful Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Demonstrated experience leading a team Strong ethical standards
