Key Responsibilities:

Leadership in Design and Development: Lead the civil engineering design and development of cutting-edge renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on civil works. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative designs that meet project specifications and standards.Engineering Expertise: Apply your knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles to create efficient and reliable design solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in developing the foundational and structural components of renewable energy infrastructure.Collaborative Project Management: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, both internal and external, to facilitate smooth project execution. You will coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineers, as well as project managers, to ensure seamless integration of all project aspects.Structural Analysis and Inspections: Conduct thorough structural analyses and inspections to ensure the safety, durability, and integrity of structures. Your role will include reviewing design calculations, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.Geotechnical Assessment: Review and analyse geotechnical reports and data to recommend optimal design solutions for foundations and other civil structures. You will leverage this information to mitigate risks and enhance the longevity and stability of power generation assets.
About You:
Educational Background: A degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Structural Engineering is required. Advanced degrees or additional certifications are a plus.Professional Certifications: Possession of certifications such as Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), Registered Professional Engineer of Victoria (RPEV), or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is essential.Experience in Renewable Energy: You have proven experience in the design and execution of renewable energy projects, particularly in solar and wind farms. Experience with BESS projects is highly desirable.Knowledge of Standards: Strong understanding of relevant Australian codes, regulations, and statutory requirements. You are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are crucial. You are adept at working with diverse teams and stakeholders, and you possess the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
