Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Randstad is currently working with a top-tier defence company to provide support on a critical aviation project. This company will lead the planning and designing of the communications, surveillance systems, and network services to support the critical air traffic control functions. As a Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer, you will support the testing and verification of systems and manage the integration and test environments.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity based in Melbourne.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of like minded individuals to consult across systems testing, systems integration, and Network Engineering
  • Lead the testing activities including, preparing test plans and procedures.
  • Design and implement Automated tests Frameworks.
  • Identify system requirements, and manage hardware and software installation and configuration.

    About you

    • Bachelors degree in Computer science, Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Network engineering or related disciplines.
    • Minimum 10 years experience leading systems testing of large scale complex programs.
    • Extensive V&V experience with mission-critical systems.
    • Proficient in hardware and/or software installation and configuration.
    • Experience with Voice Communications Systems, Radios, Telephony (VoIP, analog or digital).
    • Experience with working on all phases of System Development Life Cycle.
