The role of the Director, Group Capital is to identify and execute capital transactions to support the capital adequacy and efficiency of the Group.

You will lead through the Group Treasury capital execution agenda, and engage across the Enterprise and external markets to ensure successful and efficient transactions.

Your key accountabilities will include:

Raising or returning capital as appropriate (via dividend management, liability management, hybrid and common equity issuance and share buy backs). Lead, manage and influence outcomes that deliver enhanced, effective, and efficient capital outcomes from the Group. Managing capital flows across our offshore Branches and Subsidiaries. Work closely with broader Treasury functions (Interest Rate Risk, Term Funding, Balance Sheet and Performance teams) to ensure optimal outcomes. Managing Treasury reputational risk and delivery risk with regulators, internal senior stakeholders and market participants.
Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:

Strong influencing skills, strategic leading, knowledge of markets and application within Treasury environment. Strong risk management focused on global regulation and linkages to Treasury risks. Senior stakeholders, relationship building and the ability to challenge and influence at all levels of the organisation to gain alignment on Enterprise solutions. Whilst no direct reports - previous People Leadership experience valued. Strong leadership skills and history of working with and managing Senior Executives and Committees. Previous experience Treasury, Markets or Corporate Finance Disciplines.
