Bourke Street Green, Sojourn & the Wine Bar are not your average venues. We offer a unique atmosphere that blends a vibrant green space with sophisticated cocktails and delectable bites. As our Bars Manager, you'll be the heart and soul of our operation, leading our talented team to deliver exceptional service across our diverse spaces.

You'll curate a dynamic beverage program, ensuring our bars are stocked with innovative cocktails, premium wines, gins, whiskey, and beers. You will have an exceptional knowledge of boutique local products. You'll also be responsible for staff training, creating a positive fun work environment, and exceeding guest expectations every night.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven track record leading a bar team in a high-volume environment
  • Strong ability to inspire and motivate staff to achieve goals.
  • Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Skilled at developing staff through training and guidance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with a diverse clientele and team members.
  • Clear and concise communication style, both written and verbal.
  • Adept at finding solutions to challenges and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial responsibilities and cost control.
  • Proven ability to manage stock levels and optimize ordering processes.
  • Have strong relationships with local and national suppliers.
