Gymnastics Coach

The Role

Reporting to the Gymnastics Coordinator, the  Gymnastic Coach  will develop programs and instruct a variety of levels in gymnastic classes in a safe, positive and fun environment for participants. You will encourage children to engage in a positive fun environment that encourages inclusion whilst always maintaining a duty care for the children participating in the classes. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills as you will provide parents/guardians positive and practical feedback.

Intermediate Gymnastics Accreditation or above is preferred HOWEVER if you hold Beginner Coaching Accreditation OR an ex-gymnast without qualifications and would like to become a Gymnastics Coach then we would encourage you to apply as well

Skills & Attributes:

You must love working with kids and making a positive impact on their lives Energetic people skills Enthusiasm and a passion for developing others Friendly and open communicator A results focused team player An understanding of the value of physical literacy and the need to be active through gymnastics activities Intermediate/Advanced/ Beginner - Gymnastics Coach Accreditation Current First Aid Current CPR Working with Children Check A wiliness to undertake a Police Check clearance upon on-boarding
