About the role

Join our dynamic team of Allied Health professionals as a Physiotherapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

  • You will be working as part of a diverse Allied Health Team consisting of Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and Discharge Planners.
  • You will also work across a varied clinical caseload including ICU, cardiothoracics, orthopaedics, general medical, surgical and maternity.

Full time role (38 hours per week) with option to commence ASAP or in January 2025.

Selection Criteria

  • Minimum 1-year clinical experience, ideally in the acute hospital setting
  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Weekend availability
  • Proven ability to independently manage a patient caseload
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and effective communication skills with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Highly developed assessment and intervention skills.

Desirable

  • ICU and cardiothoracic experience.

About Us

Wollongong Private Hospital is a 171-bed private hospital featuring state of the art equipment, facilities and patient services setting a benchmark for healthcare facilities in the Illawarra. The Hospital provides all major services including an intensive care unit, 9 operating theatres, vascular laboratory, and a 4-theatre day surgery unit including a cardiac catheter laboratory and an Endoscopy suite.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
