About the opportunity

Saltwater Clinic is a vibrant, community-focused mental health facility that prioritizes holistic care and recovery orientated practice. Candidates will join a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team that values collaboration, professional growth, and innovation, working together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in our community. With a commitment to cultural sensitivity and personlised care, the recovery team offers a unique opportunity for professional seeking to contribute to transformative mental health services in a supportive environment.

  • The Team Leader role is to utilise their expert clinical skills by undertaking a caseload, providing supervision and support to other team members. In doing so the role ensures standards are met, evidence based practice is implemented and the service is responsive to the needs of the community.

  • To provide quality, specialist client centered assessment and treatment in the context of a holistic framework and in a multi-disciplinary team setting team setting.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as one of the following; a Registered Nurse with a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health or equivalence, Occupational Therapist, Social Work with the eligibility of membership for the Association of Australian Social Workers, or a Psychologist with an approved degree in Psychology,

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
