About the role
As our Loan Services Officer – Retail Settlements will report to the Team Manager and you will assist with the preparation of loan security, ancillary and discharge documentation. You will also maintain the accurate loading of data to all Bank systems, databases and repositories to ensure that we meet agreed settlement time frames.
You will be responsible for the booking of Discharge/Settlement Requests and the preparation of discharge documentation and organisation of discharge settlements for Branch & small business loans in accordance with set procedure and checklists. Furthermore, you will ensure that output statistics are updated to the relevant spreadsheet daily for management reporting purposes and maintain a high standard of service delivery ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with set internal and external service standards, targets and performance benchmarks.
You will also, identify opportunities and take action to develop and build relationships between your team and other areas, teams, departments, customers and partners and effectively explore alternatives and positions, to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties to help achieve business goals.
About you
As our new Loan Services Officer – Retail Settlements , you will bring the following skills :
Experience in a customer service / processing centre, administration functions and property conveyance practices highly desirable. RFS experience preferred or experience with a similar loan system. Strong mathematical skills to support reworking of accounts and recalculating interest. Microsoft experience: Outlook, Word and Excel. Sound communication and relationship building skills. Proactive, innovative and prepared to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service. Energetic, enthusiastic and co-operative. Demonstrated ability to work within tight timeframes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise.We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum x2 days in our Ipswich Head Office location p/week
This role is a full time, permanent, based at any of any of our head office locations
