Our People Services team is a collaborative team based within People & Culture, servicing a wide variety of staff at the ABC. We are seeking a Senior Performance and Reward Adviser to provide advice and support for remuneration and job evaluation frameworks and systems to improve performance, build capability and attract the best talent. The role is a two year contract and we're flexible for the role to be based in either our convenient Collinswood, Adelaide office where there is parking onsite, or in Ultimo Sydney. 

The Job 

You will:

  • Manage salary benchmarking processes and provide remuneration advice to managers.
  • Develop and maintain remuneration reports, databases and spreadsheets to enable timely, accurate information, analysis and advice that promotes sound remuneration management and decision making.
  • Manage the delivery of job evaluation processes and maintain the documentation and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide support and specialist advice to HR and managers to ensure positions are graded correctly and remuneration decisions are made in accordance with remuneration guidelines and relevant Employment Agreements.
  • Manage the delivery of the annual remuneration review and the maintenance of the remuneration review system.

About You 

To be able to get up to speed quickly in the role, you have experience in Performance & Reward within Human Resources, managing remuneration reviews, job evaluation benchmarking and have a strong understanding of how market data works. 

You are systems oriented but are also comfortable dealing with ambiguity and managing exceptions to the rule. You will bring to the role: 

  • Experience in preparing position descriptions, conducting job evaluations and knowledge of contemporary market remuneration tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated strong Excel skills including experience in producing reports, tables and graphs.  
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and sound conceptual, numeric, and analytical skills.
