Great SouthernBank is seeking a passionate and motivated Branch Manager to lead our Carindale location. As the Branch Manager, you will use your exceptional leadershipskills, strong business development abilities, and community connections todrive growth for our retail business.

With provensuccess in a sales leadership role and a track record of managing teamseffectively, you will lead by example and be hands-on with our customers andcommunity. Additionally, your experience in branch operations, risk management,and performance management will be crucial in achieving real commercial results.

Keyresponsibilities of a Branch Manager include:

-CustomerService: A Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring that customers have apositive experience when they visit the branch. This includes addressingcustomer complaints, resolving issues, and answering any questions or concernsthey may have.

-OperationsManagement: A Branch Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of thebranch, ensuring that all activities are conducted in compliance with bankingregulations and policies. This includes managing cash flow, maintainingaccurate records, and supervising staff.

-Sales andBusiness Development: Branch Managers are responsible for developing andimplementing strategies to grow the bank's business. This may involveidentifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationshipswith customers, and developing marketing and sales campaigns.

-StaffManagement: A Branch Manager is responsible for hiring, training, andsupervising branch staff. They must ensure that employees are properly trained,motivated, and performing their job duties effectively. This includesconducting regular performance conversations and providing coaching andfeedback as needed.

Overall, aBranch Manager plays a critical role in the success of a bank branch byensuring that it operates efficiently, provides excellent customer service, andgenerates revenue and growth opportunities.
