Houseperson

You are at the heart of the hotel As Houseperson, you will take ownership of your roles and responsibilities, ensuring that our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable space, and be a part of creating a memorable experience for them.

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Housekeeping team through the delivery of all hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work.
• Ensure high standards of property presentation, hygiene and cleanliness. 
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly, that store rooms and trolleys are kept neat and in good working order.
• Ensure all corridors are free of trays, linen trolleys or cages. 
• Assist with the removal of rollaway beds and cots.
• Collect lost property for storage in the housekeeping office and fills in the proper forms for reporting.
• Delivers guests requests to the guest room in a timely manner.
• Cleans guest rooms as requested and complete turn down as required.
• Removes rubbish and manages rubbish bin areas to maintain levels of cleanliness.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
• Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors.

• Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
