: Are you a project manager with experience in built environment design or construction? Do you have a passion for sustainability, design quality and innovation? Can you work collaboratively with others to achieve great outcomes?The Suburban Land Agency’s Built Form team is seeking applications for the position of Project Manager to drive the delivery of showcase sustainable developments.
The Built Form team is an interdisciplinary team of passionate professionals who are committed to strong leadership in people-, place- and design-led urban development that balances financial, social, and environmental outcomes. Reporting to the Development Manager Built Form, the role is responsible for managing various stages of bespoke sustainable built form project design and delivery, including planning, architectural and landscape design, and development feasibility, while operating in an interdisciplinary and collaborative team environment. Using a risk management approach, the Project Manager ensures appropriate project governance is established and maintained in accordance with the values of the ACT Public Service.

White Card - Workplace Health and Safety Induction (White Card) or willingness to obtain; Asbestos awareness card - Asbestos awareness card or a willingness to obtain - Asbestos Awareness Training and evidence of completion delivered by a Registered Training Organisation is required before commencement, for further information refer to: Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a related field such as: Project/Contract Management, Building and Construction Management, Property Law, Built Environment, Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning. Experience in property or land development disciplines or urban planning and design.Pre-requisite Qualifications and/or Experience
The successful occupant will be required to:
hold a relevant professional qualification or accreditation with a professional body (Engineering, Architecture, Project Management) recognised within Australia, or have significant planning and/or infrastructure knowledge through project management experience.Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 25 April 2025 with the possibility of extension up to less than 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
