Salary: $74,000 plus superannuation per annum

Our client is seeking a Transport Company Manager to join their company located in Maitland, New South Wales.
Tasks required include:
- Oversee the maintenance and disposal of vehicles in the company's fleet.
- Pay insurance and registration of the vehicles on time.
- Coordinate regular servicing and repairs of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
- Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory and compliance standards.
- Ensure the driver meets the company's hiring criteria and has the necessary licenses and certifications.
- Provide training to drivers on company policies and safety procedures.
- Establish clear and transparent payment policies. Communicate these terms to customers at the time of booking and ensure they understand the payment schedule, methods accepted, and any associated fees or penalties.
- Maintain thorough records of all rental transactions. This includes invoices, payment receipts, and any correspondence related to payments.
- Create and manage rental schedules, considering factors like vehicle availability and customer demands.
- Utilize GPS and tracking systems to monitor vehicle locations, ensuring they are on schedule and adhering to planned routines.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for both drivers and vehicles. This includes guidelines for safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
- At least five (5) years of prior experience as a Transport Company Manager or similar.
