NEPEAN Longwall’s corporate headquarters is located in Mackay, Queensland. This purpose-built facility provides comprehensive after-sales service and support to the region’s customers.

**Our Opportunity**

Due to exponential growth, **NEPEAN Longwall **is currently seeking **Trade Assistants **to assist with the assembly, maintenance and handling of underground mining and hydraulic equipment. This position will also assist in the stores where necessary. **This opportunity is a full-time permanent opportunity based in Rutherford, NSW.**

Daily duties will include however are not limited to;
- Maintenance of onsite fixed and mobile plant, including the completion of appropriate paperwork.
- Painting and cleaning of equipment, including high-pressure washing.
- Handling materials and equipment which may include operating forklifts and overhead cranes where necessary.
- Coordinate transport in an efficient manner and assist to load and unload trucks.
- Receive incoming goods and check for damage and for any discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Managing inventory by completing cycle counts and ensuring the correct location of stock in the stores.
- General labouring duties including facility maintenance and cleaning duties.

**The Right Person**

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

- Strong experience in a similar position, operating a forklift within a manufacturing environment.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Current driver’s license.
- High-Risk Forklift license with significant experience using forklifts.
- Rigger’s Ticket would be highly advantageous.
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Organizational and time management skills.
