About the role
Join our team as a Drawing Office Supervisor, where you will lead the design, documentation, and process management for Energy Solutions eMobility projects. In this role, you'll ensure that our drawing office adheres to ISO 9001 and ISO 55001 standards by overseeing and maintaining compliance with design formats and drafting functions.
The vacancy is open to applications in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane and willing to travel/attend different client visits and/or conferences all over the country and NZ.
Key responsibilities
- Support the design of new and existing standards & formats, that deliver the Energy Solutions business plan and drive cost efficiencies in the execution.
- Drive the review & improvement of current processes in documentation.
- Manage Concept and Design Reviews to provide governance to design approvals.
- Manage Blueprint Reviews to provide governance to design changes and standard updates.
- Hold national development teams and contractors accountable for adherence to Blueprints & Standards and the management of as-built documentation.
- Drive IT system improvements and self-service for national teams.
- Provide drafting function to the wider Energy Solutions teams.
About you
To succeed in the Energy Solutions team, you'll need to demonstrate an agile mindset, thriving in ambiguity and embracing new challenges within your role.
You will excel in driving change and enhancing performance, creating a culture of continuous improvement while leading a team to support drafting tasks, CAD systems, tools, and processes.
Key skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in electrical, architecture, interior design, design, civil or mechanical engineering, building construction or project management.
- High proficiency in AutoDesk systems, tools and design software; Autodesk Products, Autodesk Vault, CAD, REVIT, Adobe and other SharePoint systems (Libraries).
- Demonstrated experience in leading a drafting team in ISO 9001 environments.
- Extensive experience in leading design management and standards documentation.
- Ability to provide the credibility associated with designs and drawing standards and demonstrate skills at developing and managing information and people to drive performance.
- Strong understanding of project management, including performance drivers and the ability to develop and implement processes, procedures, and systems to manage them.
- Solid knowledge and experience with financial reporting requirements, PAC, and assurance processes.
- Strong leadership and organisational drive.
